Teleforce is a defensive weapon proposed by the inventor Nikola Tesla, designed to accelerate pellets or slugs of material to high velocity inside a vacuum chamber through electrostatic repulsion and fire them from aimed nozzles at a target. Tesla said the idea came to him after he studied the Van de Graaff generator, and he described the device as usable against ground based infantry or for anti aircraft defense.
