Sabbath mode, also called Shabbos mode or Shabbat mode, is a feature built into some modern ovens, dishwashers, refrigerators and other home appliances that changes their everyday operation so the appliance can still be used, within certain constraints, by Shabbat observant Jews during Shabbat and Jewish holidays without violating the rules of Halakha, Jewish religious law.
