Security Alarm

A security alarm, also called a burglar alarm, is a system built to detect an intrusion such as an unauthorized entry into a building or another protected area, guarding against burglary, theft, property damage, and intruders in settings ranging from a private home or school to a vehicle or a prison. Some systems are built only to detect burglary, while others combine burglary detection with fire detection, closed circuit television surveillance, and electronic control of locked doors within one installation. A residential system is often a small self contained noisemaker, while an installation for a business or institution can be a much more complex system with computer monitoring, control, and two way voice contact with a monitoring station.
