Pokito is the brand name of an ultra-portable, reusable cup that collapses down to a few centimeters when not in use. It was created by Canadian inventor Andrew Brooks, who conceived the idea after observing deforestation in 2006, developed the design around 2012 and received a patent for it in December 2017. The product raised more than 100,000 pounds on Kickstarter, reflecting significant public interest in a compact, reusable alternative meant to cut down on disposable cup waste.
