Lawn Mower

A lawn mower is a device that uses one or more revolving blades to cut a lawn's grass to an even height, a height that may be fixed by the mower's design or, more often, adjustable by the operator through a lever or a mechanism at each wheel. The blades may be driven purely by manual force through wheels mechanically linked to the cutting blades, or by a battery-powered or plug-in electric motor, though the most common self-contained power source is a small four-stroke internal combustion engine. Smaller mowers often require a person to push them, while larger walk-behind and ride-on mowers are self-propelled, and a robotic lawn mower can operate on its own or under remote control.
