Industrial Machinery And Power

This group gathers mechanical engineering inventions that generate, transmit or apply mechanical power to do work away from a vehicle, split below into engines and power transmission, manufacturing and material handling machinery, and agricultural, milling and fluid power machinery. Their shared work is converting energy into motion or force for industry, construction, farming and processing, as distinct from the vehicles and locomotives that carry that motion to move people or goods. This group holds no direct members; every member sits under one of its three child groups.
