The Central African Power Pool, also known by its French name Pool Energetique de l'Afrique Centrale, is an association of ten Central African countries formed in 2003 to interconnect their national electricity grids and facilitate the trading of power between members. Its headquarters are in Brazzaville, in the Republic of the Congo. Member countries are Angola, Burundi, Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, the Republic of the Congo, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, and Sao Tome and Principe. It is one of five regional power pools covering the African continent.
