Mozhaysky's airplane was an experimental Russian airplane designed and built by naval officer Alexander Mozhaysky. Powered by two steam engines, the monoplane reputedly made a powered takeoff assisted by a launch ramp, flying between 20 and 30 meters near Krasnoye Selo, Russia, in 1884.
