A windscreen wiper, also called a windshield wiper, is a device used to clear rain, snow, ice, washer fluid or other debris from a vehicle's front window. Almost every motor vehicle, including cars, trucks, buses and train locomotives, along with some watercraft and aircraft, is fitted with one or more of these wipers, which are usually required by law.
