Belongs here: aluminum and duralumin as aircraft structural alloys, aerospace-grade carbon fiber composites, and titanium as used in airframe and engine components. Does not belong here: general-purpose structural metals such as steel, grouped under Mechanical Engineering, or materials whose primary role is electrical or electronic, grouped under Electrical Engineering.
